Eastbourne International Folkdance Festival

This festival is for participants, providing series of dance sessions with weekend and day tickets. It is divided into two main sections - the International dancing section organised by the Society for International Folk Dancing (SIFD) and the Traditional English dancing section.

The International section usually has two main dance teachers from abroad, covering Western and Eastern European styles. There are also workshops on less well-known genres on the international folk dance scene. In the past these have included Thai, Chinese, Flamenco and Kathak.

The Traditional English section aims to provide a selection of well-known bands and callers.
