The Eastbourne Folk Dance Club was formed in 1972 and is affiliated to the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS).

It has around 40 to 50 members of whom more than half will attend on any one week. There are approximately a dozen members who take turns at calling for an evening as well as the odd evening where anyone can try their hand at teaching/calling a dance.

As well as the regular Thursday sessions, the club also holds some Saturday Socials during the year and a New Years Social.
